Gift Cards Online

Hello,

As the holiday season approaches, it's important to be able to sell gift cards online. If you login to advanced settings, you'll see that I've added $5, $10, $20, and $50 gift cards to the main menu. If you are interested in adding gift cards to your online menu, please let me know so I can push those items to your register. Once the items have been pushed, you can then link the items.

When you load money on to the gift card, you will use the "prepaid coupon" option. The video below shows how this works.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Fundraising, Discounts, and Printing Issues

 Hello,

Wanted to highlight 2 updates and 1 concern regarding the online ordering platform.

First the 2 updates:

1. Online Fundraising - Please keep in mind that we have the ability to create online fundraising pages for organizations to help them raise money. You can select the products you want to sell. You can select the donation amount for each product. And you can adjust your prices accordingly to offset the contribution if you so choose. It's a really easy sell to organizations too. All they have to do is share their fundraising page online and on social media channels. It's a win-win.

Here is an example of a fundraising page for you to review how the program works:

 2. Discounts - Mary from the Ingomar PA store noticed that our $2 off promo was taking $2 off the final total instead of taking $2 off the subtotal. In other words, the customer was being charged tax on an undiscounted amount. This has been changed. You should see the differences in the receipts when a customer redeems the Fall2020 promo offer.

Now the concern:

Lately, stores have been reaching out to me regarding the inability to recall and/or print online orders. Unfortunately, this is an NCR issue and I believe they are aware of it. If this happens to you, please start documenting which orders are not printing. As of now, I'm not able to determine any correlation between orders and not printing. It seems completely random. However, the more data we collect, I'm hopeful we can get to the bottom of it.

Thanks,

Bret & Colleen
