Ready Made Cakes

Hello, I had a great conversation with Matthew Graham last week and he inquired as to whether we could integrate our Pre-Made cakes into the online ordering platform. It was brilliant! Why didn't I think of that! Anyway, we spoke for a while and put together a game plan on how to best implement this at the store level. I'm happy to announce that you can now sell your Pre-Made cakes on the online ordering platform. Please watch this video as it explains everything. If you need additional flavor combinations please text me directly. I can add them quickly. Father's Day is this Sunday. You may want to stock up on cakes. They may go quickly! Bret

PayPal is Up

PayPal seems to be back up and running now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

PayPal Down

PayPal is currently experiencing difficulty. If you have a square account you may want to remove your PayPal email address in advanced settings so that customers are forced to pay with Square.

Hopefully, PayPal won't be down very long.

Various Updates

Hello,

I'm happy to report that Square has officially been added as a payment platform on our online ordering platform. Using Square will keep the customer on the web page rather than take them away as PayPal currently does. It is important to note that the fees are identical. Both charge 2.9% + .30 a transaction.

If you are interested in using Square, you will need to update 3 variables in Advanced Settings. You will need your Square Location Id, Square Application Id, and Square Access Token. There are tutorial videos in Advanced Settings but if you're itching to get setup here they are as well.

Other updates

Rounded Images - All of the product images have rounded corners now. A softer more inviting look.

The "No Thanks" button has been removed on the Extras popup as it was redundant. The "Continue" button does the same thing.

Coming soon

Fundraising Pages - You will soon have the ability to setup custom fundraising pages for organizations that want to leverage Bruster's Ice Cream to make money.

Here is an example of a fundraising page we currently have live for our Dillsburg store. Customers are paying $7 for a pint and we are donating $2 back to the organization.
